I had a great time at this location last night. We ordered some poutine, pub salad, pork tenderloin medalions, and the fired chicken sandwich. I have never ordered pork tenderloin before that wasn't breaded, so I had a different idea for what was coming. I was amazingly surprised by the flavor of the tenderloin. They used a honey and whiskey infused glaze that had so many great flavors, sweet, spicey, salty, and more. A MUST try, I am so glad I stumbled on it. The poutine was good and unique, not quite the same type of gravey I am used to with my local poutines. The salad was large and ranch tasty. The fried chicken sandwich was also done well. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. The food came out on time. They also had some live Irish music to boot. Overall, it was a great experience and something I would come back for.

One of the most intriguing restaurants I've been to. Free live music when I was present, the presentation of the meals was very unique and I've never seen another restaurant do anything similar. The food came out hot and fresh and very good. We got the Poutine, Sheppard Pie, and Fish and Chips. All were above my standard. Our waitress, Lilly, was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and took care of us well. I'd love to return when I'm in the area again.

We have been here twice in the span of a week. Ordered the poutine both times, however we didn't take a photo either time as we knew what we were getting! The Shepard's pie was perfect and the fried chicken was just as perfect. I did get a pic of the fish and chips, subbed side salad instead of the chips as we had those in the appetizer. Can't wait to go back!

Great food and great Irish whiskey selection. I've never seen a white gravy with a texture like this. I would stay at this hotel every business trip if they were open every day and had their kitchen open later. Unfortunately it seems they've cut out their Taylor fladgate port wine selection but they still have a cheaper option that is acceptable. Breakfast is probably better here than any other hotel in town if you can wait until the later serving time.

My mom, sister, and I came here for a late dinner after traveling all day and it was beyond expectation! Atmosphere is amazing, very warm and cozy pub feel, and there was live music playing for most of our dinner which was great The food and drinks were phenomenal, shepherd's pie was hearty and delicious, it was exactly what I wanted after a long day! If you're nearby you need to stop in, it's a wonderful place!

I visited Frank O'Dowd's Irish Pub & Grill for the ribbon-cutting event for their food truck. The event took place outside and was a Very enjoyable time. The service was outstanding, the food was excellent - i highly recommend their Ribs, Egg Rolls, and Fish Tacos - you can't go wrong with any of the food. The friendliness of the staff made you feel like you were among friends. Highly recommend you visit when you come to Galena - The pub itself, or if you see their food truck out and about.

One of the best places I've been to. People are amazing. I drove over an hour just to eat here. The harry Potter theme was beautiful, very on point. 10/10 would come back.

Busy Saturday, so happy we had a reservation! Sat outside. Of note, awning only covers 1/2 of tables at 6pm-ish so a bit sunny and hot. Food was delicious and server Liz was terrific. Recommend whiskey salmon, fried chicken, shepherd’s pie. We’d go back again.
